What is the difference between Health Insurance and Health care Programs?

charleen asked:
Is it OK to have just the health care program and not have the Health Insurance Plan? I can get Health care program for half the monthly premium as compared to the Health Insurance Plan. Please advise? Is it advisable?

health insurance will pay for medical expenses. health care will get you the treatment.

No, a health care program is not insurance. It will only give you a slight discount on your health care costs. It is advisable for somebody who has a pre-existing condition (diabetes) who can’t get individual health insurance. Health care programs are set up for “it’s better than nothing” coverage. I would suggest calling me if you would like to look at multiple quotes to fit your budget. My service is free. 877-442-5878 ext. 13, ask for Kevin.
