What is the difference in health benefits between regular and organic/unfiltered apple cider vinegar?

I have started drinking apple cider vinegar daily in order to increase my health and drop a couple of pounds but I bought filtered apple cider vinegar. I think it is walmart brand but that was all they had. I plan on going out to buy organic ACV after i finish this small bottle. Am I drinking this filtered ACV for nothing or does it still have the same health benefits as organic ACV?

The only thing I can think of is that the organic apples were not sprayed with pesticides.

Most ACV that is not organic is Apple Cider FLAVORED vinegar and is not a true fermented product but rather the result of a industrial chemical process (just look at the label-all store brand and Heinz ACV are a mix of grain vinegar and AC flavoring)

The organic Apple cider vinegars are produced through natural fermentation and use actual apple cider to make the vinegar.

So yes, big differences between the two

Well there doesn’t tend to be any difference in health benefits. Maybe you are someone among the many who believes that drinking a certain amount of vinegar has health benefits. If so, knock yourself out. No diference has been noted between any particular vinegar.

That doesn’t mean that just about a million people won’t claim that their particular vinegar has the best health effects. Just you may notice they don’t put it on the label because they can’t because they haven’t proven it. So they just say it and that’s pretty wide open.

Now we do know of one major potential health effect of the unpasteurized ciders. Every once in awhile we get some food poisonng cases from people drinking them. Usually it’s small and not that serious. It comes about in part because cider is largely a salvage operation, you make much more money selling apples. So what happens is that the apples fall on the ground and they are picked up for the cider. Been a couple of cases where the people where being so natural they let their cattle graze in the orchard and added cop pies to the cider. Of course even where cattle don’t graze, deer and rabbits and such do so fecal material can get added accidentally to cider.

Now there’s the artificial cider make with acetic acid and flavorings. That’s pretty hard to have that contaminated. And then there is pasteurized cider, which heat is used to kill the bacteria, so that tends to be very safe as well. And then the is the all natural never pasteruized wonderful joy juice market. That’s the one you need to be most careful about. If the jar seems to have any growth in it don’t drink it. If it has a “funny” flavor, don’t drink it. And so on.

That would be the only documented health effect diference I know of.
